7th annual Main Street Shot Ski aims to break Breckenridge record

PARK CITY, Utah — For the seventh year in a row, Main Street will be filled to the brim with participants lining up to retain the World Record for longest shot ski on Saturday, October 21, at 2 p.m., with check-in beginning at noon. Tickets are still available for the volunteer-led event aims to break a different record as well as raise funds for Summit County charities.

Last year, the communal shot ski used 528 skis end to end, totaling 2,800 feet; 1,340 people took the shot ski shot of High West’s Double Rye whiskey (or apple juice) simultaneously. Park City Sunrise Rotary raised over $40,000 for its grant program.
