Zion Forever Project to unveil the Zion National Park Discovery Center early phases
UTAH — Utah Gov. Spencer J. Cox, in collaboration with the Zion Forever Project and several key partners, will unveil the early construction phase of the Zion National Park Discovery Center on August 22, from 1-2:30 p.m.
This groundbreaking center, located on the park’s east side, approximately 2.5 miles east of the Zion National Park entrance, offers immersive educational programming, sustainable design, and natural playgrounds.
A visionary project, the Zion National Park Discovery Center, aims to safeguard the extraordinary wonder of the park’s east side for future generations. The destination offers visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural world, uncovering the region’s captivating history and diverse ecological systems.
Situated on an 18-acre property generously donated by a group of landowners, the Discovery Center seamlessly integrates with its surroundings, showcasing exceptional architectural design. Discover engaging hands-on educational programming and awe-inspiring natural exhibits at this one-of-a-kind center.
Hosted by the Zion Forever Project, the event will feature speakers, including:

- Members of the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah, offering a blessing on the land
