PARK CITY, Utah —SongwritingWith: Soldiers, a non-profit organization, dedicated to making a positive impact through collaborative songwriting, will host a discussion with music director Jay Clementi and songwriter Danny Myrick on the Songwriter Stage, on September 7, from 12-1 p.m.

This organization facilitates change through three-day retreats and workshops hosted nationwide by pairing veterans and their families with professional songwriters. The powerful songs created during these sessions are recorded and disseminated through live concerts, streaming platforms, and social media, bridging military and civilian communities.

The aim is to raise awareness about the challenges our returning service members face while enhancing mutual understanding. Since 2012, SongwritingWith: Soldiers has organized over 70 weekend retreats and conducted 1000+ collaborative songwriting sessions involving almost 2,000 veterans, service members, and their families. Over 1000 songs have been professionally recorded with the participants as co-writers. Best of all, these songs are freely available for streaming
