Festa Italiana returns to The Gateway, September 16-17

UTAH — Mark your calendars! Festa Italiana SLC is returning to The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City on September 16-17, 2023.

The festival will be open on Saturday from 12-10 p.m., and Sunday from 12-7 p.m.

Hosted by the Italian-American Civic League of Utah (IACL), this year’s eighth annual Festa Italiana promises to deliver an authentic Italian street festival experience right in downtown Salt Lake. Last year the festival drew in over 40,000 enthusiastic attendees, ready to celebrate all things Italian

Admission is free, and a portion of the proceeds will support Catholic Community Services.

Indulge your senses with offerings from more than a dozen local Italian restaurants, serving up their unique and authentic dishes. Alongside the culinary delights, there will be non-stop performances by talented Italian musical artists, an Italian car show, and artistic showcases by both local and Italian artists.

The Italian-American Civic League, a long-standing non-profit organization established in 1934, has gained nationwide recognition for its outstanding achievements. With over 200 active members, including men’s and women’s chapters, the league actively participates in various civic functions and cultural events, positively impacting the community. Over the years, the league has generously provided scholarships throughout the entire State of Utah, totaling an impressive amount of over $200,000.
