Riverhorse on Main awarded Forbes Travel Guide 4-star rating for the 23rd year
PARK CITY, Utah— Since its inception on New Year’s Eve 1987, the highly acclaimed Riverhorse On Main has garnered praise from critics and diners alike, securing its spot as one of North America’s premier culinary destinations.
As a pioneer of fine dining in Utah, the Riverhorse became the state’s first restaurant to earn the coveted DiRōNA Award in 1995 for its commitment to “excellence in dining,” a distinction it continues to hold year after year.
Riverhorse on Main has been awarded, once again, the Forbes Travel Guide 4-star award, 23 years running, recognizing Riverhorse on Main as one of the finest properties in the world.
“Doing this takes much passion, but it is definitely a team effort,” said Vasile Pertic, director of operations at Riverhorse on Main and Salt Box. “I couldn’t be more grateful for the servers, barbacks, bartenders, dishwashers, and cooks we work with. It is a team that is well-minded and put together; we are incredibly humbled and honored [to receive the award].”
Riverhorse On Main offers a unique and trendy dining experience in Park City’s historic Masonic Hall. The cuisine features American comfort food with Southwest flare, expertly crafted by James Beard, Celebrity Chef, and co-owner Seth Adams. With live music and an urban vibe, this restaurant’s ambiance is the perfect companion for a night of sophisticated indulgence.
“It is such an honor, and it really speaks to the staff; I am certainly not there every day,” said Adams. “The prep cooks, the line cooks, the sous chefs, and the servers, it’s definitely a team effort. We are very thankful to have this award and to be part of this club. We do this because we enjoy the hospitality business and giving people experiences they don’t get elsewhere.”
