PARK CITY, Utah —SMMT (pronounced Summit) founders Jamie and Michelle Parker moved to Park City in 2017 from Portland after having worked for Nike for several years. Their passion for the outdoors and their new environment inspired them to launch their line of puffy totes made from sustainable materials with functionality that appeals to outdoor enthusiasts.

SMMT is an acronym that stands for Sustainable, Mountain, Marine and Travel and also offers a nod to Summit County, in which they live with their children. The couple grew up on opposite coasts yet ended up in a mountain town and have traveled considerably in their careers and personal life.

“Our muse is Park City in a lot of ways, or the mountain town lifestyle,” Jamie said. “The mountain aspect and how we build products ensure they can live up to ‘home.’ It is great for the outdoors in general, meaning they can live up to the mountain environment and other places.”

SMMTs Powderloft Tote is available in two sizes, a 35L, and a 20L, and two colors, forest black or Jordanelle blue.

The design was a way for the Parkers to combine two of their favorite products, the puffy jacket and the silhouette tote, an all-day carry vessel. The combination created a lightweight, protected, and comfortable tote that is built to last.
