PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Fire Department (PCFD) responded to a medical incident yesterday at approximately 5 p.m. north of Kimball Junction.

According to a statement from the PCFD, backcountry units responded to a collapsed mountain biker with CPR in progress.

AirMed landed in the area and was able to transport the biker to the University of Utah Hospital. Their condition is currently unknown.

“The collaborative efforts of the PCFD emergency responders, the flight team and their quick action hopefully created opportunity for a positive outcome in this incident,“ said Chief Darren Nelson.
