SNAPPED: Park City Recreation’s inaugural Cardboard Sled Derby

PARK CITY, Utah — Parkites took to the slopes on Saturday, March 4, but not on their typical skis or snowboards.

As a part of Park City Recreation’s inaugural Cardboard Sled Derby, contestants showed up to the Sport’s Complex Stadium Grass Field at Quinn’s Junction ready to compete in creations of all shapes and sizes.

The event’s biggest rule was that competitors could only use cardboard, duct tape, paint, string, or twine to make their sleds.
