Nuzzles & Co. to host Casino Night benefitting rescue efforts
PARK CITY, Utah — Local pet rescue and adoption non-profit, Nuzzles and Co. will host a casino night complete with a speakeasy-themed evening of gaming and cocktails, light fare, and puppy snuggles.
The event will take place March 25 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at the Double Deer at Promontory. All proceeds from the night will go towards Nuzzle’s efforts to rescue shelter pets in need in Utah and elsewhere. Tickets for the event can be found on the Nuzzles and Co. website.
Around 6.3 million companion animals will end up in some form of an animal shelter in the United States alone over the course of a year. That accounts for about 3.1 million dogs and 3.2 million cats. Roughly 4.1 million animals are adopted from shelters each year. These estimates are from the ASPCA, as no government institution or organization collects data to track these statistics.
Since the formation of the non-profit, originally known as Friends of Animals Utah, in 1990, the organization has found homes for over 22,000 pets.
Visit the Nuzzles and Co. website for more information on events, adoptions, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support the organization.
