SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — On Tuesday morning, Summit County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a missing person described as a mid-20s male in the Pinebrook area. Search and Rescue was activated, and located the resident on a nearby trail. Helicopters and drones were reported to be flying over the area by TownLift readers.
Attempts to resuscitate the individual were unsuccessful, and the resident was pronounced deceased.
Summit County Sheriff’s Department confirmed there is no threat to the public, and the incident did not involve an avalanche.
