Tiger Woods reveals new 18-hole course design for Park City

PARK CITY, Utah — The Marcella Club announced a new collaboration with Tiger Woods and his golf course design company, TGR Design®. A new Championship 18-hole golf course will be created with Marcella Club and the first TGR Design® course in the mountain west.

“The course will be the first course of a 36-hole facility integrated into a pristine natural landscape in a scenic location just minutes from Park City, offering unmatched views along Utah’s longest and highest-elevation golf course,” Summit Sotheby’s International Realty said in a statement.

Marcella at Jordanelle Ridge, located a few miles south of Marcella Mountain, will encompass two separate 18-hole courses, one created by TGR Design®. The course is set to be over 8,000 yards long and will be one of the longest in Utah.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with Marcella Club to design and create a new championship golf course just outside Park City,” said Tiger Woods, 82-time PGA Tour® winner. “Utah is an incredible place, with favorable year-round weather that offers opportunities to be active outdoors throughout all four seasons – golfing, skiing, biking, hiking, and fishing – the list goes on and on. I’m thrilled to be designing a course in such a special location; this new course is uniquely beautiful and will offer engaging play for every ability. My intent is to create a world-class golf experience to pair with Marcella Club’s vision for modern luxury living.”

Marcella at Jordanelle Ridge plans a second 18-hole course which will be built after the TGR Design® course is completed.

Marcella Club will only offer 500 full golf memberships for 36 holes, making it one of the most exclusive golf clubs in Utah. The golf developments will also include a clubhouse and practice facility. Marcella at Jordanelle Ridge is anticipated to open for play by the 2025 season.

The Marcella Club is a partnership between two communities, Marcella Mountain and Marcella at Jordanelle Ridge, in the Park City area. Marcella Mountain homesites are listed by Summit Sotheby’s International Realty.

“Utah’s topography and dramatic view corridors make our state the perfect location for Tiger Woods to bring his first mountain course to life,”  said Thomas Wright, President and Principal Broker of Summit Sotheby’s International Realty. “Marcella’s lifestyle and real estate opportunity is truly one-of-kind. From ski-in/ski-out homesites, to memberships at the first (and only) Tiger Woods designed course in the Mountain West, Marcella is a community that redefines both Utah’s luxury and resort real estate offerings.”
