RHOSLC Shah starts 6 1/2 year prison sentence

BRYAN, Texas — On Friday, February 17, Real Housewife of Salt Lake City and Parkite Jen Shah began her six-and-a-half-year prison sentence for defrauding hundreds of people across the country.

U.S. District Judge Sidney H. Stein sentenced Shah to serve 78 months in FPC Bryan Prison in Bryan, Texas followed by five years of probation on January 6, 2023. Shah took a plea deal in July 2022 for conspiracy to commit wire fraud in a telemarketing scheme and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Shah’s assistant Stuart Smith faced separate charges and took his own plea deal to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, and obstructing an official proceeding. He has yet to receive a prison sentence.
