Park City Education Foundation to host third annual grandparent-grandchild virtual art lesson
PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Education Foundation (PCEF) will host its third annual virtual grandparent-grandchild art lesson, taught by Melissa Allen, Park City School District’s Elementary Visual Art (EVA) specialist, and an instructor at Parley’s Park Elementary School.
The art lesson will take place on Thursday, January 26, from 5-6 p.m. Be sure grandparents and grandchildren are each registered so they may each join the Zoom. Register here to attend.
Jennifer Billow, PCEF Associate Director, Communications and Development, told TownLift, “In the fall of 2020, we were trying to figure out how we could create connections to our programs and to our donors, who fund EVA, without having an in-person event. We kept hearing how especially isolated grandparents were. Most of our families living in Park City are from somewhere else, and flying or driving to visit was so risky at that time.”
