Prom King, Special Olympian, now PC MARC Guru, C.J. Haereter’s new class

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Municipal Athletic Recreation Center (MARC) has a brand new offering for the community though its leader is far from brand new to the community.

C.J. Haerter was voted prom king by his Park City High School Class of 2020 peers. He has represented the National Ability Center in no less than half a dozen Special Olympics events. He works tirelessly at Lucky Ones Coffee Shop.

Now you can sign up to spend time with him in what the Park City Recreation Department (PC Rec) has dubbed their “Guru” Class.

Haerter told TownLift, “This is awesome. It’s going to be so much fun. I can’t wait.”

PC Rec wrote in a statement, “We couldn’t be more excited to introduce this new ongoing program starting December 7! Join chat guru, motivation master, and beloved community member CJ for weekly walks around the PC MARC track.”
