PCARA members pull out all the stops for special holiday events
PARK CITY, Utah — Start new traditions or continue cherished ones with the Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA) members this holiday season. Restaurants welcome guests to join them for unforgettable holiday dinners and a variety of family-friendly and adult-only ways to ring in 2023 with toasts, live entertainment, and award-winning cuisine.
“For locals and visitors in town for the holidays, our restaurants are busy preparing specialty cocktails, festive menus, and thoughtful details for the perfect celebration,” Park City Area Restaurant Association executive director Ginger Wicks said. “Reservations are encouraged as soon as possible to secure your spot at the most coveted table or hottest party to ring in the New Year.”

Indulge in a 4-course dinner on New Year’s Eve. First seating begins at 5 p.m. ($150 per person), and second seating begins at 7:30 p.m. ($200 per person). Entertainment from DJ Blessed One will take place from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Ring in 2023 at Deer Valley Resort’s New Year’s Eve Party at Cast & Cut in the Snowpark Lodge. In partnership with DAOU Family Estates and Moet Hennessey, the NYE Dinner and Dancing Package ($500) consists of a 4-course dinner at Cast & Cut on the main level, followed by the NYE Party on the 2nd level of Snow Park, including live entertainment, drink tickets, party favors, a champagne toast at midnight, and light culinary fare. Party Only Packages ($350) and VIP Stage Side Daou Lounge Packages ($425) are also available. The resort will also offer on-site child care by reservation and transportation services on a first-come, first-served basis.
Offered December 24 & 25, enjoy a special 3-course Christmas menu of seafood clam chowder or pear vinaigrette salad, grilled lamb chops or scallops, and strawberry bread pudding with French vanilla ice cream. $70 per person.
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a 3-course meal of lobster bisque or apple almond feta spinach salad, filet mignon, and chocolate lava cake, along with a midnight toast of prosecco to ring in 2023. $89 for adults.
Enjoy a New Year’s Eve party fun for all ages from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. at Grand Summit Hotel. Following fireworks in the Canyons Resort Village, celebrate with family-friendly food stations, games, party favors, and DJ before wrapping up the night with the live broadcast of the Times Square Ball Drop. $135 for adults, $75 for kids 12 and under. A loaded Christmas buffet will be dished out from 1-9 p.m., including a chilled raw oyster bar, carving boards, and dessert table— $95 per adult, $47.50 per child 5-12, kids five and under enjoy for free.
The New Year’s Eve menu is available from 1-9 p.m. and offers a lam-lollipop amuse-bouche and five courses. Adults dine for $165 and children 5-12 for $65.
Pendry Park City celebrates its first holiday season with inspired bites, sips, and family-friendly programming, sure to make holiday time in the mountains even more magical.
Beginning Saturday, Dec. 17, the Dos Olas breakfast window, lunch, and dinner service will be available daily.
Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
Enjoy dinner on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day at KITA, featuring a specially curated menu of Japanese-American-inspired fare. The three-course menu offers butternut squash bisque, rosemary and pistachio-crusted rack of lamb, and sweet treats such as hot chocolate entremet.
Disco Pizza is decking its hall with holiday décor and savory offerings. Starting Tuesday, Dec. 20, visit Disco Pizza for frosty beers, jolly cocktails, tasty bites, and festive merriment. An option of special Italian family-style dinner menus will be available on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. No reservations required.
New Year’s Eve
Say goodbye to 2022 in style with the choice of a three or four-course prix-fixe dinner. Menu highlights include kombu-jime hamachi, Chilean sea bass, and a delectable red wine chocolate tart.
New Year’s Eve at Aprés Pendry
Cozy up next to the fireplace and toast to the year ahead at Aprés Pendry, boasting a New Year’s Eve countdown and balloon drop, complete with live music, shareable comfort foods, and handcrafted cocktails that perfectly complement the slope-side setting. Menu highlights include starters of West Coast oysters, kombu-jime hamachi, and entrees such as Chilean sea bass and house-cured duck breast. No reservations are required.
Ring in 2023 with a live DJ and a firework display to be viewed atop the only rooftop pool and bar in the area. Reserved for in-house guests.
Powder at Waldorf Astoria Park City
Enjoy a festive Christmas buffet brunch with abundant selections for the entire family. Guests can begin with local charcuterie, oysters, and a sushi station, before diving into seasonal soups and salads. Fill up with roasted turkey, grilled tenderloin, Alaskan salmon, cauliflower steaks, and classic sides of mashed potatoes, candied yams, brussels sprouts, and glazed baby carrots. Save room for various pies, citrus olive oil cake, and butterscotch budino. Children’s buffet options are also available—$ 169 for adults, $89 for kids, and free for kids four and under.
Celebrate the end of an amazing year and the start of an even better one with a multi-course dinner and a special performance by the Dance Doctors. Cash bar and wine pairings are also available. Enjoy an a la carte holiday menu for four, including shareables such as a meat and cheese platter, bacon-wrapped scallops, stuffed mushrooms, mains of prime rib and orange cranberry glazed seabass, sides of sweet potato mash, green bean casserole, and roasted garlic gnocchi, and sweet finishes of bourbon chocolate bread pudding and chocolate dipped strawberries with fresh baked cookies. Orders are packaged with reheat instructions and should be placed 72 hours in advance.

The Glitretind will offer a special prix-fixe menu and wine pairing with seatings beginning at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. A children’s menu will also be available. $225 for adults, $50 for kids 5-12. Limited selections will also be offered at Troll Hallen.
Christmas Day
Indulge in The Glitretind’s traditional Christmas Day dinner buffet from 11 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. and 5 – 7:30 p.m. Selections include several starters such as holiday squash & fennel salad, white lentil & wild mushroom salad, and seafood ceviche, carving stations of roasted elk and Christmas turkey, and hearty entrees of short ribs, sea bass, ham, and lamb T-bones. Finish with an abundance of desserts, including the holiday pie tarts “a la mode” action station. The full Troll Hallen menu will also be available. $175 for adults, $50 for kids 5-12.
New Year’s Eve
Close out the year with a special prix-fixe dinner at The Glitretind, including a band, dancing, and festive décor. The first seating at 6 p.m. features a 5-course menu and a special kid’s menu. The second seating at 8:30 p.m. offers the 5-course menu (no kid’s menu). $270 for adults, $55 for kids 5-12. $275 for adults only.
New Year’s Day
What better way to start 2023 than with Stein Eriksen Lodge’s Sunday Brunch Buffet? Reservations for the lavish spread, including several New Year’s specialties, will be available from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. $90 for adults, $45 for kids 5-12.
