Utah-based Bingham Cyclery opens e-bike only storefront
PARK CITY, UTAH – Utah-based Bingham Cyclery opens its fifth location and first storefront in Summit County at 3156 Quarry Rd. #3-N, Park City. It will open its Park City doors for business on Wednesday, November 9.
Electric bikes have become an undeniable part of recreation and transportation, and Bingham Cyclery has been with the trend for years.
“We started carrying electric mountain bikes in 2015,” says Bingham Cyclery owner Angela Wright. “Not only have we seen consistent growth in this category, but also in commuter and recreational e-bikes across all four of our established store locations.”
Noting the increasing demand for high-quality, reputable e-bikes for transportation and recreation, Wright sees Park City as the perfect place for people to easily transition out of their cars and onto the pedals.
“Traffic in Park City can always be an issue, no matter what time of year it is. Park City also has an excellent network of infrastructure, including designated bike paths and bike lanes that take riders from Jeremy Ranch to Deer Valley, from Trailside to downtown,” she said. “If you are paired with the perfect bike, you can avoid the frustration of driving and parking and instead spend your time enjoying your commute from the comfort of your saddle.”
While the Salt Lake Valley locations carry urban, kids’, and mountain bikes—both analog and electric, the Park City store will focus solely on electric bikes.
The Bingham Cyclery Park City location will stock the popular Dutch bike brand Gazelle, commuter-focused Tern bikes, Norco electric mountain bikes, Giant and Liv e-bikes starting in 2023, and the custom German e-bike brand Riese & Müller. Bingham Cyclery is the only Riese & Müller retailer in Utah, and one of very few in the U.S. Customers are able to choose how they’d like their bike configured, and each is crafted to order and shipped directly from Germany.
Bingham Cyclery’s other stores are located in Ogden, Sunset, Salt Lake, and Sandy. The Cyclery celebrates its 60th year of business in 2022. Bingham Cyclery will host an open house on Wednesday, November 16, from 5-7 p.m.
