Park City Song Summit to put substance recovery, mental health, and poverty on center stage

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Song Summit is not only feeding the ears but feeding the soul. Nonprofits and musicians from around the nation will come together to entertain audiences and educate them about poverty, substance abuse, and mental health in the United States.

Park City Song Summit will be joined by several other organizations including Stand Together Foundation, a nonprofit committed to breaking the cycle of poverty in America by driving change from within communities. The event will also feature programming organized through Stand Together Music, a subsidiary of Stand Together Foundation.

The event will also feature programming by The Phoenix, a nonprofit who’s mission is to build a national, exercise-based, sober community that fuels resilience and harnesses the transformational power of connection to rise, recover, and live. The Phoenix is currently leading One Million Strong, an impact initiative that seeks to transform the way people think about addiction and recovery, which will also be featured at Park City Song Summit.

“Stand Together Foundation, Stand Together Music, The Phoenix, and Park City Song Summit share a unique goal – transforming the world through the power of community. The on-site activations will support the creative journey of artists and attendees through a variety of mental health and wellness activities,” Ashleigh Wayland, Director Media Relations, Stand Together said in a statement.
