Cruise over to the Annual Bike to School Celebration Aug. 26

PARK CITY, Utah — The Bike Back to School Celebration is happening at Park City High School on Friday from 7:30 – 9 a.m. Students and riders are encouraged to meet at one of four locations as a starting point for the ride to Park City High School.  The celebration will feature a free breakfast for students and riders and a celebration of bicycle safety.

Riders should meet at one of the following locations at these times: at Park City Municipal Athletic and Recreation Center (PC MARC) should meet at 7:30 a.m., Aspen Villas at 7:40 a.m., Arches Park at the end of Comstock Dr. at 7:45 a.m. and at Park City Heights at the corner of Ledger Way and Richardson Flat Road at 7:30 a.m.

Participants in the Summer Scavenger Hunt can receive a stamp on their sheet for a bonus entry to win a Nintendo Switch and other prizes. The scavenger hunt sheet can be found on the Park City Transit website, along with more information.

Like many transplants to Utah, Kevin started his journey to Park City as a ski instructor in 2014 and fell in love with the mountains enough to stay. A skier since the age of 2 and a half, he still gets excited about carving turns down the slopes and hopping into the powder on snow days. Kevin's passion for storytelling and photography led him to a second bachelor's degree focused on communications and fine art photography from the University of Utah. Paired with his first undergrad in ecology from Oklahoma State University, Kevin particularly enjoys writing environmental and nature stories. In his spare time, you can usually find him in his jeep looking for wildlife and landscapes to photograph.
