Smoke in the sky puts Park City residents on edge
PARK CITY, Utah — Smoke filled the sky above Park City on Monday afternoon around 5:00 p.m. as a dumpster caught fire near a home in Pinebrook. Park City Fire District has stated that the fire was contained to the dumpster, and firefighters had the fire knocked down quickly. No additional structure damage or injuries are being reported at this time.
Several TownLift readers were concerned about the smoke, and many reported feeling on edge about this year’s fire season. Statewide for the 2022 fire season, there have been 622 wildfires, and 344 have been human-caused, according to Utah Fire Info.
