Versante on the Lawn kicks off June 24

PARK CITY, Utah — Following the Park City Planning Commission’s approval, Versante on the Lawn at the Peaks Hotel will begin on June 24.

It will run six days a week, 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with closures on Monday.  There will be live music on Saturdays and Sundays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

An idea that originally came about during the pandemic, it’s now a popular summer festivity heading into its third year.

Parking was a concern of the planning commission, and in order to secure their permit, the restaurant agreed to reduce its indoor capacity by 25%.

“We fought for this, but it can easily be taken away,” Versante General Manager Stephanie Samuels said. The restaurant plans to aggressively market public transit (and walking/biking) to locals and visitors alike, in an effort to reduce congestion.

“We as locals have to change up the way that we attend events,” she said. “If they want this — and we want to deliver and provide them every summer to continue on — we need their help.”
