Park City summer events kickoff
Temperatures are rising, and Park City and SLC are spicing things up this summer with events that will excite kids and adults alike. Whether it’s a warm summer day stroll through the markets, an outdoor music festival, a techy kids camp or world class food in the middle of Park City’s historic main street, there’s something for everyone. Check out the list below for our top ten favorites.
Location: USANA Amphitheatre
Time: June 4 from 7:30 pm to 11:59 pm
Matchbox Twenty is a rock band that formed in 1995. You certainly won’t be disappointed after hearing their many popular songs like Unwell, She’s So Mean, Back 2 Good, and Bright Lights.
Location: Historic Main Street
Time: Sunday, June 5, from 10 am to 5 pm
Park Silly Sunday Market makes its summer debut this Sunday June 5. Enjoy the farmer’s market, and festival, on Historic Main Street every Sunday from June to September. Vendors and activities will be different each week. Everyone is welcome, including our furry friends.
Location: The Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City
Time: June 10 from 5 pm to 10 pm and June 11 from 12 pm to 10 pm
This festival aims to increase the music genre awareness, the blues. In addition, it lets blues enthusiasts connect with the classical music genre. Performers include Terrie Odabi, Eric Heideman, Vanessa Collier, Ruthie Foster, and more.
Location: Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church
Time: June 13 through June 17 from 9 am to 11:30 am
According to Eventbrite, in this event, “kids will learn how robotics work, and build projects for various robotics platforms including Wonder Workshop, Lego Spike Prime, and Vex Robotics kits to accomplish such missions as robo dance party, robo soccer and sumo bot wrestling.” Tickets start at $295.00.

Time: June 20 at 12 pm through June 24 at 3:30 pm
Children will learn how video games are designed by creating their own awesome video games in this four-day event. Tickets start at $295.00.
Artist Show for Lindsey Erin Summer Solstice
Location: Art Elevated on Main Street
Time: June 24 through June 26 from 5 pm to 9 pm
There will be an artist show and reception for Lindsey Erin Summer Solstice. Admission is free.
Location: The Middle of Main Street
Time: June 25 at 6 pm
This outdoor dinner party with food, drinks, and live music, will all occur in the middle of Main Street. To make reservations click here.
Location: Oakley Recreation Complex
Time: June 30, July 1, July 2, and July 4 at 8 pm
You surely won’t be bored with bullfighters, rodeo clowns, cowboys, and cowgirls. There will be a firework show following each rodeo (weather permitting).

Time: August 5 from 5 pm to 9 pm, August 6 from 10 am to 8 pm, and August 7 from 10 am to 6 pm
Park City is putting on their annual Kimball Arts Festival. For 53 years, the Kimball Arts Festival has showcased the art of jury-selected creators.
Location: Utah State Fairpark
Time: August 12 from 5 pm to 10 pm, August 13 from 12 pm to 8 pm, and August 14 from 12 pm to 6 pm
The 14th annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival takes place on August 12, August 13, and August 14. According to Craft Lake City’s official page, the festival showcases hundreds of local craftspeople, vintage vendors, foodies, young entrepreneurs, performers, and STEM exhibitioners.
