Much-needed rain likely on the way
PARK CITY, Utah — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Salt Lake City reported that they are expecting a “monsoonal moisture push mid to late week.”
Moisture chances return to Utah/SW Wyoming tomorrow and lasts through the remainder of the week/weekend. Each day expect isolated thunderstorms to develop in the afternoon. Highest likelihood to see storms will be in the southeast portion of the state. #utwx #wywx pic.twitter.com/f3lqUWOvV6

Precipitation isn’t forecasted in Park City until late Thursday, with a possibility of showers throughout the weekend.
On Saturday there is a chance for thunderstorms after noon, however, Savor the Summit attendees can hope that by night things will be dry.
Additionally, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is forecasting above-average precipitation across the four corners region later this month:
