Red hot Real Salt Lake to host Nashville SC on Saturday

SALT LAKE CITY — Real Salt Lake (RSL) is looking to continue its hot start and three-game unbeaten streak as they return home to host Nashville SC at Rio Tinto Stadium this Saturday.

Tied for first in the Western Conference with seven points and a 2-0-1 record, RSL has demonstrated resilience and determination through their first few matches.

Most recently against the New England Revolution, RSL trailed by two goals through the majority of the contest before scoring three goals in the final 12 minutes to emerge victorious.

“I think in games like this, it is about putting the ball in dangerous areas, and I thought in the first half we got into good areas, and we didn’t have numbers in the box, and we didn’t have service. So you do all of this work, and in a game like this, when it’s about mistakes, who is going to make the more mistakes?” Manager Pablo Mastroeni said postgame.

RSL will now face Nashville SC (1-1-1). This matchup marks the second meeting between the two clubs as Nashville has only been a member of the MLS since 2020.

Saturday’s match is set for a 7:30 p.m. MT kickoff. It will be locally broadcast on KMYU and available to stream via the KSL TV & KSL Sports apps. Fans can also follow via ESPN700 AM radio.
