PARK CITY, Utah — A former Summit County inmate is seeing the benefits of his time behind bars after his jail artwork pieces have gained significant attention, and even led to employment since his release.

Mr. Henderson, who was incarcerated in the Summit County Jail, shared his incredible talent and skill by hand painting murals within the walls of the detention center. Following his sentence, Henderson’s work has quickly gained attention and led to an employment opportunity after references from the jail and their staff.

According to a Facebook post by the Summit County Sheriff, Henderson told jail leadership how grateful he is that he had the opportunity to share his skill and use it as a resource to continue to learn and grow despite being incarcerated. He hopes this will help prepare him for a new life of success and opportunity moving forward.
