Last week, the company said it would be starting employees at $20 per hour next season. The minimum wage at Vail currently starts at $15 per hour.
Starting next winter, the Eagle Lift at Park City Mountain will be re-aligned and upgraded from a 3-person lift to a 6-person lift. The Silverlode Lift is also being upgraded to an 8-person lift, increasing uphill capacity by 20%.
Park City Mountain Communications Manager Emily McDonald told TownLift that the Eagle Lift is back on schedule this week, “so guests can still enjoy the 3-person ride from the base area to runs like Temptation and Spiro before the lift is re-aligned and upgraded for next season.”
“Additionally, this past February, we announced that Scott’s Bowl at Park City has re-opened, and we are looking forward to enjoying the advanced terrain for a full season in 2022-23,” McDonald said.
