Sold out ski joring returns to Kamas this weekend

KAMAS, Utah — Utah Ski Joring is returning to Kamas this weekend for its annual event at the High Star Ranch.

Unfortunately, general admission and VIP tickets are sold out for the races on Friday and Saturday. However, tickets to the separate Friday night concert featuring Chris Peterson from America’s Got Talent and Nashville-based Jagertown are still available.

What is ski joring? It’s an action-packed competition in which a horse and rider pull a skier at a fast pace through a course that includes gates, jumps, and rings. The event combines Utah’s ski heritage with its cowboy roots, creating a wild, fast-paced event.
