PARK CITY, Utah — Casey Dawson, 21, has been named by US Speedskating to join the Beijing 2022 Olympic Long Track Speedskating Team.
Dawson graduated from Park City High school, skates for the Park City Speedskating Club, skates at the Park City Ice Arena and represents Park City’s Youth Sports Alliance.
Casey Dawson took to Instagram to express his feelings about qualifying for the Olympics. “No words can describe the feelings and emotions going through my head right now. 11 years ago I started the sport of speed skating in park city at my small, local speed skating club. I always looked up to my mentors growing up as they were olympians, and I thought of them as superheros”
