Calls for service: Police and sheriff logs
Calls for service to the Park City Police Department (PCPD) and the Summit County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) for the week of January 3 – 9.
MONDAY:
- PCPD – For a second time, a snow jump had been built in the Shadow Ridge garage, above where the cars come out of the lower garage.
TUESDAY:
- PCPD – A woman was arrested at the Park City Hostel after staff reported her disorderly behavior and officers discovered her several active warrants out of Wasatch County.
- SCSO – A man in his 20s from Kentucky was arrested for being intoxicated at the Sterling Steak and Lounge restaurant after he had taken his shirt off and entered the women’s bathroom.
WEDNESDAY:
- SCSO – Black ice caused five cars to slide off the road near the Best Western Landmark Hotel.
THURSDAY:
- PCPD – Extra patrol was requested by a school bus driver at Richardson Flats Rd. to discourage multiple drivers from running the red lights on the bus at pick-up and at drop-off times.
- PCPD – Assistance was requested by lift operators at Park City Mountain Town Lift to secure the area while ski equipment that had dropped into the net over the road was retrieved.
SATURDAY:
- SCSO – A hunting bow was stolen overnight out of an open, attached garage at the Liberty Peak Apartments.
SUNDAY:
- SCSO – At the Red Pine Condominiums near the base of the Canyons, an unlocked pickup truck was opened overnight. The key to a second car parked next to the truck was taken out and used to steal the second car. Later located in a different parking lot of the Red Pine Condominiums and filled with a number of items that did not belong to the owner, the car was returned to the registered owner.
