Promontory Foundation hits record for 2021 fundraising contributions
PARK CITY, Utah – Promontory Foundation has hit a record-breaking year for fundraising contributions in 2021. The luxury vacation home community members raised a total of $330,000. One hundred percent of those proceeds will benefit 27 non-profit organizations that serve the greater Park City Area. Seventy percent of those contributions go to social service organizations and grants serving mental and physical health.
“We are thrilled that Promontory Foundation’s contributions have reached record levels alongside the unprecedented growth of the community during the coronavirus pandemic,” says Kelli Brown, Promontory’s General Manager. “Given the toll that the pandemic has taken on mental and physical health, the Foundation wanted to focus much of its giving to non-profits addressing these particular needs.”
Several impact grants are being made to non-profits specific to mental health, such as the People’s Health Clinic, Peace House, and Christian Center. Leah Harter, the director of counseling and wellness for the Christian Center, says, “We are incredibly honored to receive a generous grant from the Promontory Foundation. It’s encouraging that the Foundation recognizes the support that individuals, couples, and families need right now for their emotional and mental needs.”
