PARK CITY, Utah — For those looking for unique holiday dining and take-out options, look no further. Members of the Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA) have created an intensive list of world-class restaurants for dining in and gathering at home, as well as holiday specials on award-winning spirits and entertainment to celebrate the holiday season.
“Park City restaurants are welcoming guests into their dining rooms and onto the dance floor for some serious celebrating,” Park City Area Restaurant Association Executive Director Ginger Wicks said. “Make a reservation or order ahead to enjoy dinner at home for an unforgettable holiday.”
Whatever way people choose to celebrate the holidays, the list has something for everyone to enjoy.
Whether it’s for a gift or to entertain guests for the next holiday gathering, enjoy special December pricing on award-winning spirits from Alpine Distilling. Choose from Alpine Gin (recent winner of Gin of the Year), Alpine Vodka, Preserve Liqueur, and Lafayette Spiced Whiskey available at Alpine Distilling and local State DABC stores.
Looking for pre-made holiday meals? Deer Valley Grocery Café offers holiday take-out menu items. A meal for four includes: roasted pork loin, roasted green bean almondine, savory bread pudding, and baby spinach salad. Indulge in Deer Valley Bakery holiday cookies, 6″ carrot and German chocolate cakes, apple brown sugar coffee cake, and apple, blueberry, and cherry pies. Grub Steak Restaurant is offering both special Christmas and New Years’ menus. For their Christmas menu, diners can choose between salad and wild rice and mushroom soup before moving on to basil pesto baked salmon, choice of side, and spiced apple bread pudding with High West bourbon sauce that sugarplum fairies would envy. The cost is $45.75 per person.
Diners can also ring in the New Year Grub Steak style; choose between salad and wild rice and mushroom soup followed by beef tenderloin with grilled portobello mushrooms, a 9-oz Maine lobster tail, choice of side, and decadent house-made chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries.
Celebrate New Year’s on Friday, Dec. 31, with George Michael Reborn, a tribute to the music of WHAM! And George Michael starring Robert Bartko. General Admission tickets are $150.

Special family holiday dinner packs for four featuring numerous to-go options prepared by Riverhorse’s Salt Box catering team are available. Meals can be prepared hot and ready to eat or cold with reheat instructions. Holiday gift boxes are also available for pick-up on-site.
