Taylor Scott Band will play Canyons Village tonight

PARK CITY, Utah — The Taylor Scott Band will be featured in tonight’s edition of the Canyons Village free summer concert series.

The band is “Roots-Rock based” according to their website. They’re heavily influenced by funk, blues, and soul music.

Their latest album is Live at the Belly Up.

Scott has recorded and toured several countries with blues legend Otis Taylor.

“Taylor Scott is one of those artists that can do it all,” Dave Alvin said. “A heartfelt, sincere songwriter with extraordinary guitar chops and a deeply soulful voice.”

The venue opens at 5 pm and the concert begins at 6 pm. Guests are welcome to bring their own blankets and low-backed chairs.

The cabriolet hours are 5 pm to 8:30 pm.
