Salt Lake Search and Rescue deploy 20 members to help a fallen climber

SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah — On Tuesday evening, Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue deployed 20 members to assist a climber that fell from a boulder problem near White Pine in Little Cottonwood Canyon.

The climber sustained a lower leg injury. Paramedics from the Unified Fire Authority provided medical care.

All were off of the mountain at roughly 11:00 pm, with the rescue taking a total of 90 minutes.
