At 6’3″, 195 lbs, Butler served as the Baylor Bears’ court general at point guard. He was awarded the Most Outstanding Player in the Final Four.
Like most of the Bears’ roster last season, he’s a strong defender. The first team All American also brings a diverse offensive skill set — with the ability to work the pick and roll, and shoot from three.
The Jazz traded the No. 30 overall NBA Draft pick to the Memphis Grizzlies.
The trade occurred after the Jazz used the pick to select Spanish forward Santi Aldama.
For the trade, the Jazz received the No. 40 overall pick and two future second-round picks.
