Summit Community Gardens’ July Classes

PARK CITY, Utah. — Park City’s Summit Community Gardens has a mix of great classes and teachers lined up for July. All classes can be found on the website with more information and how to sign up.

July Classes:

Plant I.D. and Foraging

  • July 6th, from 7-8 pm – Award-winning survivalist and author Eric Boettcher is going to teach Plant I.D. and Foraging
  • $15
  • July 13th, 6-7 pm – Acupuncturist, and herbalist Autumn Bear will be taking a closer look at the wellness benefits of common vegetables within the garden. She is happy to talk about anything growing in attendees’ garden plots. Afterward, she will be providing free tea samples and sleepy time tea recipes.
  • $15
  • July 20th, 5:30 – 7:30 pm – Linda Elbert with Mindful Cuisine will teach participants about fermentation, why it’s used, and participants will get to make either sauerkraut or kimchi
  • $40
Summit Community Garden’s mission is to empower the Park City community to gather and garden at high altitudes. They work to offer a wide array of classes and teachers to foster a sense of community and get as many people into the garden and involved as possible.
