Little Pole Fire burning in Heber, Evacuations lifted

UPDATE: 8:00pm – The actual size has been determined to be 21 acres and is now 45% contained. Firefighters will be monitoring the fire throughout the night watching for hot spots.

HEBER, Utah. — The “Little Pole Fire” started near Little Pole Canyon just after 3 p.m on Monday May 31 and has burned approximately 50 acres. Evacuations for 8-10 homes were issued and have since been lifted. Wasatch County Fire is reporting the fire to be 5% contained as of 6:30pm. The fire is human caused and Wasatch County Fire is asking people to please stay out of the area.
