HOLLYWOOD, CA. — The American Idol judges were quite impressed with Wyatt Pike’s duet performance last night. He shared the stage with singer-songwriter, Ben Rector. The two of them sang “Brand New,” a Tate McRae song. It was rare to see Wyatt perform without his guitar, however, that didn’t change the judges’ impressions of Wyatt.
- “What you cannot teach in this business, is stage presence. You owned that moment that we just saw. Congratulations.” – Lionel Ritchie
- “You are an authentic superstar musician, you could go on tour TODAY and fit in, right now.” – Katie Perry
- Watching you perform, it was emotional for me. I was just emotional the whole time. It was just great, man. You’re so right in your moment, right now. I can’t tell you anything to do different, be you.” – Luke Bryan
