Rob Gronkowski joins SLC-based Pit Viper Sunglasses pro team

DEER VALLEY RESORT, Utah. — Pit Viper Sunglasses announced that Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end and football personality Rob Gronkowski has officially joined the Pit Viper Experts Only Pro Team. Over a weekend in March, the Gronkowski family met with Pit Viper to solidify their partnership by skiing in jeans, partying in rooftop hot tubs, snowmobiling, and doing what Gronk does best, having a good time.

The Gronkowski family began wearing Pit Viper sunglasses in 2019. Since then, without a contract, Gronk sported the glasses during NFL interviews, while hosting WWE Wrestlemania, and most recently, while celebrating his team’s Super Bowl LV win in Tampa Bay, Florida. The relationship between Pit Viper and Gronk has grown and it was only a matter of time until they met in person to make it official.

In March, Pit Viper hosted the five Gronkowski brothers, Papa Gronk, and their spouses in Deer Valley to celebrate the partnership. The weekend kicked off in the infamous Pit Viper limo, and the festivities included stunts like setting speed records while skiing in jeans, topless photoshoots in sunglasses and bowties, and ripping snowmobiles over 75 miles per hour.

“Partying with the Pit Viper crew was the most fun we’ve had in a while, I’m stoked to have gotten the full ‘Party Mountain’ experience,” said Rob Gronkowski. “Skiing with them was nuts! They weren’t kidding when they said the only thing they’re serious about is having a good time.”

“The Gronkowskis are a wild bunch with the fun-loving energy that Pit Viper is all about. Pretty decent skiers too. We’re stoked to have one of the world’s most legendary partiers join the family, and all we can say for now is that we think you’re going to love what we’re teeing up in the future,” teased Pit Viper team manager JP Gendron.

What is next for this legendary partnership between Gronk and Pit Viper? While in SLC, Gronk surprised everyone with his mountain biking abilities and sunglasses design skills.
