The Daily Pow: 100″ Snowstorm at Alta

ALTA, Utah. — Last weekend’s storm shut down roads and created an unprecedented 60-hour ‘interlodge‘ in Little Cottonwood Canyon. The winter storm brought more than 100 inches of new snow to the Wasatch mountains.

The Daily Pow (TDP) made the best of the snow on February 21st and recorded all of the magic. TDP is a Utah powder skiing video blog featuring authentic Alta Ski Area footage in a ski report format. It was co-founded by Gary Marcoccia, a former Alta Peruvian bartender turned entrepreneur. Marcoccia said, “That so much amazingness happens at Alta and in Little Cottonwood … we are just trying to capture some of that stoke and share it with the world.”

The Daily Pow loves Alta (and knows that you do too). “You can watch the stills on the webcams or you can enjoy our dynamic coverage and footage of this special place,” said Marcoccia.
