DESCRIPTION:Free take-home snack packs are available this summer at the Wasatch County Library on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Snack packs can be picked up at the front desk while supplies last and are open to everyone\, with a special emphasis on kids\, tweens\, and teens. \nOn Tuesdays in July and August\, join Snack Shack with Ms. Brittnie at the library from 12 to 2 p.m. \nSpecial thanks to the Wasatch Community Action Services & Food Bank for their support in this program.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a wildflower walk on the 910 Ranch\, led by Lands & Natural Resources staff and volunteers. \nWhat to Expect: \nThis event involves a walk of approximately 2-3 miles. Please dress appropriately for the conditions—wear sturdy footwear\, sun-protective clothing\, hats\, and sunscreen. Don’t forget to bring water. We recommend bringing layers to stay comfortable! A few pairs of binoculars will be available to borrow. \nYouth Participation: \nParticipants under the age of 18 are welcome to attend L&NR events but must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Parents or guardians should reserve additional tickets for any participants who are under the age of 18.

DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the solstice and longest day of the year with Swaner! Help us tackle invasive weeds on the Preserve and improve habitat quality and the wetland ecosystem. Meet at the Swaner EcoCenter: extension.usu.edu/swaner/directions \nVolunteers will head out onto the Preserve to pull invasive weeds\, and afterwards head back to the EcoCenter to enjoy the back deck from 7 – 8pm. Pizza\, beer\, and non-alcoholic seltzers will be provided to all volunteers. \nYOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND the event and be 21 years of age or older. ID’s will be checked at the door.
