Through clear insights on wills\, bequests\, charitable giving vehicles\, and how these tools fit into a holistic estate plan\, attendees will learn how to align their financial decisions with the legacy they hope to create. \nThe program also highlights the powerful role advisors and nonprofits play when working together to support your long‑term philanthropic goals. With time for connection\, learning\, and questions\, this session encourages participants to begin thoughtful conversations about shaping a legacy that has purpose and impact. \nAbout the Presenter \nKristal Bowman-Carter is an experienced trusts and estates attorney based in Park City\, Utah. She is the principal of Bowman-Carter Law\, a Park City law firm since 2012 which focuses on simple and complex estate planning issues\, including planned giving. She loves her work helping clients helps clients gain peace of mind by planning for the foreseen and unforeseen. When not working she can be found volunteering through Park City Rotary\, hanging out with her pilot husband and newly adult daughters\, traveling\, hiking\, reading and cooking- when she’s in the mood.

Or stroll on our Storywalk and read a book page by page as you stroll the trail and explore the sights and sounds around you. \nFor our Sunday craft on April 26\, 11 AM – 1 PM\, create a nature journal out of recycled materials to help record your observations!

SUMMARY:Kimball Junction Trash Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter for our annual cleanup of Kimball Junction and the Preserve! Volunteers will head to locations all over Kimball Junction to pick up trash that has accumulated over the winter. If not removed\, much of this garbage ends up on the Swaner Preserve which can be dangerous for wildlife and detrimental to the functions of the wetland. \nCoffee and light snacks will be provided by our generous neighbors\, Bartolo’s\, and all volunteers who participate in the Earth Day Cleanup are entered into an opportunity drawing for fun prizes and gift cards from local sponsors. Thanks to Newpark HOA for sponsoring a dumpster for the cleanup and Recycle Utah for lending additional trash grabbers. Thanks to our prize sponsors Skullcandy\, GU\, Park City Brewing\, Northland Mountain Boutique\, Fusion Hair\, Hearth & Hill\, Radiant Wax\, Club Pilates\, and more! \nSign up by selecting a volunteer shift below. Please arrive anytime within your shift to check in and pick up supplies. Check-in for this event will take place on the plaza in front of the Swaner EcoCenter. Upon arrival you will be assigned to a specific area\, given materials\, and receive additional instructions. \nVolunteers will get free entry into Swaner’s travelling exhibit “Life on the Edge” from 10am-4 pm.
