DESCRIPTION:History of the Wasatch County Rodeo and Fair Days with Brent Kelly \nCelebrate Wasatch County Fair Days by exploring the rich history of one of the community’s most treasured traditions. Join Brent Kelly as he shares stories and highlights from the history of rodeo and Fair Days in Wasatch County. \nBrent Kelly was recognized with the 2025 Utah Treasure Award by Governor Spencer Cox for his outstanding contributions to the community. For more than 50 years\, he has served as a rodeo announcer and has been deeply involved with the Heber Valley Rodeo\, the Wasatch County Rodeo\, and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in Wasatch County. \nMonday\, July 27 \n4 – 5 PM (Earlier start time) \nWasatch County Library – Bowcutt Room \nThis FREE presentation is part of the Wasatch History Speaker Series and is a Wasatch County Fair Days event. Seating is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Parking is available in the library’s main parking lot and on the east side of the library. Everyone is welcome.

SUMMARY:Back 2 School Basics
DESCRIPTION:Back 2 School Basics meets the needs of families in Summit and Wasatch counties by relieving some of the financial burdens of back-to-school shopping. Each participating student receives a gift card to spend at Junction Commons\, a new backpack\, and school supplies of their choosing. This program is supported by volunteers who give of their time\, donors who sponsor children\, and by grant funding. \nBack 2 School Basics serves roughly 1\,600 students from Summit County\, Wasatch County\, and the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation in Ibapah\, Utah.
