Raising a Reader: Why It’s Important & How To Motivate Your Child to Read

This is an event for the entire community, we highly encourage you to come out for this event where we will be hosting nationally recognized and respected woman in the field of literacy. Margie Gillis will be our keynote speaker followed by a panel discussion where she will be joined by Dr. Louisa Moats and community educators. Margie and Louisa will be sharing why it’s important and how we can motivate our children to read. They will explain why these things matter and how oral language plays a role in how our kids learn to read.
