SPEAKER: Sally Cousins Elliott, Steering Committee Co-Chair, Friends of Ski Mountain Mining History

TOPIC: Promoting Mining History; Saving Mining Structures – How PCMR and the Friends of Ski Mountain are working together to save surface mining structures

Sally’s story is both ordinary, wife, mother, ski buff who retired in Park City, and extraordinary.  Raised in Oklahoma the child of community active parents, she travelled the world, learned to ski when posted to the “Arctic Test Center” and is now a notable leader in the PC Community.

Her admonition to her community: If you move somewhere that isn’t perfect, settle in and make it better…if not you, then who will?
