The Summit County Weeds Division is hosting a Community Noxious Weeds Tour to educate residents on the “most-wanted” weeds here in Summit County!
When? Saturday, May 16, 2026, 9 AM – 12 PM
Where? Richardson Flat Park & Ride

This is a guided tour through the Basin that will provide an up-close look at the noxious weeds impacting our local landscape. Transportation will be provided for up to 14 participants.
Along the way, Summit County’s noxious weeds experts, including our Weeds Superintendent, Dave, and Weeds Enforcement Officer, Dan, will share how to identify these invasive species and the most effective ways to control them using practical tips attendees can use at home!
Because noxious weeds don’t stop at property lines, managing them takes a community-wide effort. This tour is a fun, hands-on opportunity to learn more, connect with neighbors, and become part of the solution!
