Community are invited to a Silent Walk for Peace, guided by Elisabeth Lentz

The Silent Walk for Peace is scheduled for Saturdays, March 14, 21, and 28, beginning at 11 a.m. near the silos at McPolin Barn, 3000 Hwy. 224.

According to Lentz’s event description, the walks are intended as a space for participants to explore what it means to find peace within themselves and carry that into daily life. The gathering draws inspiration from contemplative traditions, including walking meditation, as well as from monks currently undertaking a peace walk to Washington, D.C., an effort Lentz said gave her hope.
